Also my 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5l since 125,000, now hitting 300k with no tranny problems. Just replaced the spark plugs and put some dielectric grease on the boots. I drained the transmission fluid, put some thread sealant on the oil plug and put it back in. Then I pour 4qt of Mercon LV, ran the engine to running temp, shifted to each gear and stopped on each for 5 seconds down and back up. Check oil level and added some more fluid. Get a clear or semi-translucent container that holds at least a gallon, preferably 1.5 gallons or more. Mark off in 1-quart increments. Pick up a gallon (or two) of Valvoline MaxLife 'Multi-vehicle ATF' - It will say it's recommended for 'Mercon LV' among other things. Jack up car, or put on ramps.
