Dolce and Gabbana's The One (Eau de Parfum) is a fantastic scent--one of the best out there (IMHO). With its rich amber, smooth tobacco, and succulent and sultry cardamom and grapefruit mix it became one of my favorite fragrances from the first time I sampled it. I truly adore this scent. I have Dolce & Gabbana The Only One and it is a beautiful perfume, along the same lines as YSL Black Opium, but, with way better sillage and longevity. I get about seven hours, and I would describe The Only One as most definitely a sensual floral gourmand, the notes most prominent on me are vanilla, violet, iris, coffee and rose.
Yes it’s worth it. Lasts for 3-4ish hours, close projection, absolute knockout for dates and formal settings. Don’t waste it on coworkers or barflies. The scent itself is extraordinary: a little floral, a little sweet, a little woodsy, and beautifully balanced. A review: Dolce & Gabbana The one for men EDP. Review.
